Shared Space

About the Show

Seven queer women and femmes gather for a birthday party! With romantic tensions, ex-partners, secret past hookups and two Leos in the room, what could go wrong?
Shared Space by Amelia Brooker is a slice-of-life comedy about young women and femmes exploring their voices and identities. Inspired by Mart Crowley’s play Boys in the Band which featured a groundbreaking portrayal of life for gay men in 1968, Shared Space invites audiences into the lives of lesbians in the modern day with witty, fast-paced dialogue and touching insights on the queer experience.
