Monthly Script Reads
Every single month, we come together as a community to read through a script together! It may be a brand-new script, an old classic, a musical, or an original by a local playwright. If you would like to read, roles are randomly assigned (or requested, if you have a dream role you'd love to play). Don't feel like reading out loud this month? Come on out just to listen! New people are always welcome.

May Script Read
Thank you for joining us for the April script read! Our next script read is happening on Monday, May 13th at 6pm. We will be meeting in Carousel Theatre Studio B (1411 Cartwright St, Vancouver, BC V6H 3R7).
This month, we will be reading, "Horse Girls" by Jenny Rachel Weiner. Twelve-year-old Ashleigh rules the Lady Jean Ladies, South Florida's most exclusive horse club. News that her family's stables are being sold and their horses killed for meat throws the Ladies into crisis in this dark comedy of middle school deception and lies.
Script reads are an important part of Bramble and a low-stakes way to join us and participate. Bring a device to read off of and come on out to read a new script, hang out with other artists, and see what Bramble is all about.
